Description

The Bound Constraint Summary shows all the Constraint Equations that are bound in the current dispatch interval. Note that many Constraint Equations may be invoked, but only a small number are generally bound in any dispatch interval.

The Bound Constraint Summary is a hierarchical display that groups constraints according to

  • Coverage of the Constraint Set
  • then Constraint Set
  • then Constraint Equation
  • then Left Hand Side terms

You can expand each element of the tree by clicking on the triangle that appears on the left of the element.

The number displayed to the right of each Constraint Equation identifier is the Marginal Value for the equation.

The number displayed to the left of each Left Hand Side term is the factor (multiplier) for that term in the equation.

The names of Constraint Equations, Constraint Sets, and DUIDs are linked to the Entity Browser for that type of object. See the help pages for these screens...

In some contexts a checkbox may appear next to the identifier of a Constraint Sets and Constraint Equations. If you select that check box then the Region displays change to highlight the Units and Interconnectors that are on the LHS of the Constraint Equations you have selected.
